The Confederation Centre of the Arts is a registered non profit organization dedicated to showcasing the BEST in "Canadian" visual and performing arts.
It opened in 1964 and was built as a living monument to Confederation and our founding fathers.
The Centre is a hub for learning (through the lens of the arts) how Canada was first formed and how our identity continues to evolve through the years.

The Centre also presents the annual "Charlottetown Festival" which is the largest musical theatre festival in Atlantic Canada since 1965 celebrating Canadian stories by exploring our origins, ideals, and ongoing evolution, including the famous, "Anne of Green Gables".
