We fell in love with Prince Edward Island on our very first visit over 40 years ago.
In 2016 we decided to retire here, and venture into homesteading in our retirement.
We plan to open a Bed and Breakfast, and share this beautiful island with you (from East Point to West Cape) through the pages of this website.
We snapped the above picture of the Confederation Bridge just before we crossed it from the Cape Jourimain, New Brunswick, border during our travel to Charlottetown.
Warning!
If you visit Prince Edward Island, you may be tempted to move here. You'll find it to be the perfect place to relax and leave your worries behind.
Whether you:
Peace and tranquility will envelop you once you step foot on the island.
That's how we felt each and every time we visited.
Come to our house and we'll tell you all about visiting, moving, and retiring to PEI.
Welcome to our house... our soon to be, "BnB".
We hope to engage and inform you of life in PEI through the pages of this website "just as if you were a friend sitting at our kitchen table."
As a matter of fact, you just might be having a cup of coffee with us some day.
We are opening a Bed and Breakfast. We named it, "Apple Tree Chalet."
We would love to have you for our guest.
You could soon be experiencing life in PEI just as we are.
Bring the kiddos... we have lots of pet critters for them to see and feed.

Our daughter snapped the above picture of Thunder Cove Beach which is one of our favourite beaches in PEI.
Prince Edward Island boasts more than ninety unforgettable beaches each unique in its own way.
You'll find white sandy beaches and red.
You'll see rugged coastlines and sand dunes, rolling tides, and sand bars.
Your "fun in the sun" beach days will never be quite alike but all will captivate and inspire you to want to return to the ocean every chance you can get.
There are plenty of other attractions in Prince Edward Island to keep you busy all summer long.
Have fun!
Hope to meet you soon :)
